Do you think my babies look alike??

Have you ever wonder if your kids will look like the daddy or mummy? Here, I've some pictures from the past to share.

Just wondering if we all look alike?

Who do think this is?

Your guess on the above picture?? Yes, you are right. It's none other than me. This picture was taken when I was 4 months going 5 months old.

Answer is quite clear. It's my eldest I.

This picture is taken when he's about 8 months old. I think he looks like his daddy. Well, his daddy doesn't have a baby photo to share.

This is none other than my 2nd prince himself.
This picture is taken when he is 5 months old. He just shaved his hair when this picture was taken.

This is my baby I. A sweet smile that melts our heart.
This picture is taken when baby I is 4 months old. She's such a darling. And she has a smile that melts our heart.

Did you see any resemblance in the 4 photos? Hahaha! My 3 kids all come from the same factory. That's why they look alike when they were babies. They have all grown and their characters are very different. They are each special in their own ways.

The 3 rascals together.

Last but not least, my 2 sons are my little helpers at home. They love their baby sister very much. I know they will be a responsible and caring person.

My 3 Isssssss

Every year, we always hear this talk on our population decline and aging population. Young couples nowadays tie their knot late, have babies late. Why? Because standard of living in Singapore is high. We have to work hard while we are young to save money for wedding and family planning.

Well, I married at the age of 26. Now in my mid-thirties, I've 3 kids, aged 6 years old, 4 years old and 5 months old respectively. I am working full-time. I do not have any helper. Hence, I sent my eldest to a Before School Care, my second one to a Childcare centre and my youngest is being looked after by my mother. I've a part-time cleaner who comes once a week to help me clean the house.

We have given up a lot of our personal time pursuing our interests by starting a family early. For example, my hubby and I love travelling but after we have children, we stopped. Frankly speaking, it's very expensive to raise a child in Singapore, from diapers, milk powder, childcare to enrichment classes to kids' interest. We always have to think twice on big spendings  like an overseas trip.

However, I have not regret my choice even though the cons are more than the pros. This is because my kids are my pride. It's a blessing to watch them grow and learn day by day. Motherhood has taught me a valuable lesson. I can't say I am a perfect mother but at least I felt that I am a good mother. I am always learning to be a mother each day.

The english name of my 3 prides all starts with I. My eldest I is in P1 now. He likes to ask questions and loves to read informative books and play computer games. He is also very sporty and is an outdoor person. He gains a lot of knowledge from reading. I learn a lot of new things from him.

My second I is in K1 this year. He's a sweet chap, has a sweet tooth and loves food. His weakness is he's too dependent on his brother or us. He's also lazy some times. When you gave him 5 pages of homework, he will only do 2 pages for you. His interest is art & craft and playing computer games.

My baby I is 5+ months. She's an adorable baby. She's always smiling at us when we talk and sing to her. As she's born pre-matured, I'm always worried about her health. She's our little darling girl. She knew when her brothers come back from school and will wave excitedly at them. She loves soft gentle music.

The 3 of them are our pride and love. We didn't regret working hard and spending money on them. It's through them that we learn and grow.
