Travel diary - Genting Trip (9 Jun - 12 Jun 2013) Part 3

On Day 3, we ate our breakfast at Curry in a Hurry at 8.15 a.m. We ordered Nasi Lemak, Roti Chapti and Mee Goreng. Their Roti Chapti is like our prata and it is very big. The prata is bigger than Isaac's face.

After breakfast, we head down to First World Bus Terminal to catch the first shuttle bus (at 9.05 a.m) to the Chin Swee Caves Temple.

The Chin Swee Caves Temple is situated in the most scenic site of Genting Highlands. It is located 4,600 feet above sea level and the Temple is about 5–10 minutes’ drive down from the peak of the mountain.

Please see our photo journey to enlightenment.

After picking the strawberries, we weighed and paid for the strawberries and proceed to the other farms.

The Lavender farm needs an entry fee of RM$3 for Adults and RM$1.50 for child. We felt not worth the money so we didn't go in.

Their restrooms....

There is a small exhibition area on Bees. They also sell honey products there. Good educational area. The kids are introduced to the different species of Bees.

After walking for some time, the kids were hungry. So we bought strawberry ice-creams from the Strawberry cafe. They sold strawberry flavour coffee, strawberry shake etc

Taking photo of Xieyi's backview enjoying the ice-cream alone
Next, we proceed to the Hydroponic farm. There are many fresh vegetables and plants.

The kids are fascinated by this giant pumpkin

They don't look like the vegetable seller at all

Saw the mushroom farm and we are curious how they grow the mushrooms. We were wowed by the different kinds of mushrooms they grew.

After we exit from the mushroom farm, there's a bazaar  (like our pasar malam) selling shirts, gifts etc

We saw a cabbage farm towards the exit. But the entrance fee to it  is RM$2 each so we didn't enter
