Travel diary - Genting Trip (9 Jun - 12 Jun 2013) Part 1

Xieyi and I decided on a short family getaway. After much considerations, we decided to go to Genting Highlands. We booked the trip for 4 with WTS Travel (which means Ivory is not traveling with us).

On  9th Jun, we left our house at 5.30 am and off we go to Genting Highlands. Isaac was sitting with me on the coach. There's a lot of leg-room on the coach and it's very comfortable.

We reached Yong Peng at around 9.35 am. We had 20 mins break to take our breakfast. I bought 2 ramly chicken burgers to share. And also bought char siew su and my favourite bubble gum. The last time we visited Genting Highlands was in year 2009 when Isaac was 3 years old.

We arrived First World Hotel at around 12.15 pm. As it was lunch-time, the children and I are hungry. We bought the famous bus terminal Fried Kuey Teow for lunch and ate while waiting to check-in our hotel.

Finally, got our keys and after putting our luggage into the hotel room, we began to explore the place.

The next stop, we went to the arcade. We let the children play there for a little while. The games were quite expensive, 3 credits/ 4 credits per game.

Returning to our hotel room to shower and rest before going for dinner.
