Travel diary - Genting Trip (9 Jun - 12 Jun 2013) Part 2

Day 2 of our Genting trip is scheduled to be Theme Park day. The boys were very excited and woke up very early. We had quick breakfast and went to the outdoor theme park ticket booth. We were early. The counters will only opened at 10 a.m so we walked at the garden near the theme park and also explored the Theme Park hotel.
The boys being very "fresh" early in the morning, posed in front of Theme Park Hotel (castle).

We returned to the ticket counter at 9.45 a.m and there was already a long queue. We finally got our tickets by 10.25 a.m. The first ride we went was Spinner. Imax is too short so he can't take the ride. Therefore, Xieyi accompanied him.

Checking his height if he can take Spinner

The 2nd ride we took is The Spinning Teacups. Oh gosh, it's so dizzy...Imax spinned and spinned and spinned.

Next, Xieyi and the boys went on Astro Fighter. I was too dizzy to take the ride. So I stood and watched them.

After that, the children took the mini version of "Top Gun".

Look at the children. They are so excited.

The next ride we took is the Flying Jumbo. The "Jumbo Elephant" flew up and down controlled by the kids.

And we went for the Antique Car ride, before our lunch. Imax loves to drive car.

Finally, it's lunch time. We were starving. We went to Market Food Street to eat.

Xieyi and Isaac ate the Pineapple Fried Rice and sugar-cane drink.
Imax and I ate the Kampong Fried Rice and sugar-cane drink

After lunch, we bought some Fried bananas, Fried durians and grilled sweet potato and went onboard the monorail (we sat on a red caterpillar) to explore the Theme Park. The cabin of the monorail is very low and I hit my head. Ouch! So painful.
The monorail

Didn't see the Mind your head label and "kok" my head. Got a "baluku"

We went walking around after the monorail ride. Saw this antique london telephone booth so I asked the boys to pose for me. They liked to pose Power Ranger.

A antique car. The boys love cars. I bought ear muff for them as their ears were very cold. A very cool day.

We went on to take the Ferris Wheel. The cabin is very squeezy. Enjoying the breeze and scenery.

Look at those people hanging in the air and scream their lungs out

We visited Dinosaur Land. The dinosaurs were controlled by power and they moved every few minutes. The children thought these were real. :)

We proceed to the Indoor Theme Park. Isaac and Imax wanted to take the racing car ride but they were not tall enough. So we went for the Rio ride around First World plaza.

After the Rio ride, Isaac wanted to play the Flying Dragon so Xieyi brought him there.

As Imax couldn't meet the minimum height, he couldn't take the ride. Hence, I brought him to play the Merry-Go-Round and Car ride.

After the car ride, the kids played bumper car for 5 rounds before we went back to our hotel room to shower and rest.

At 6.15 p.m, we went to Kopitiam food court for our dinner. We had malaysian local delights: Penang Prawn Noodle and Assam Laksa. The kids had western food.

After dinner, we went for a Reindeer ride at First World Plaza.

The kids went for more rounds of bumper car. They also went for more car rides and merry-go-round thereafter.

I was very tired by 8 p.m because I was having a tension headache. We went back to sleep early. Stay tune for Part 3 of our trip.
