Travel diary - (Day 3) Sun Moon Lake - Paper church - Fengjia night market (Part 2)

We reach Sun Moon Lake at around 12.30 pm. We had our lunch at Sun Moon restaurant. The food is good.

Our driver, Mr Song helped us bought the round-trip ferry tickets at a cheaper price NT$280 per pax. We took a photo with this famous stone before boarding our ferry at Shuishe pier.

Onboard the ferry. It's Ivory's 2nd time on a ferry. The first time she took a ferry was 2013 to Kusu Island during lunary 9th month. We alight at Xuanguang pier and we walk to the Xuanguang temple. There is a stall selling tea eggs near the pier. The stall is very popular.

Next, we took the ferry to Ita Thoa pier.

Street singing by the aboriginal singers near the pier. They are from "Shao" tribe.
We walk around the street. There are many shops selling the tribal costume. We bought bubble tea, chinese sausages and chicken wings from some of the shops.

Then we went back to Ita Thoa Pier to catch the ferry back to Shuishe Pier.

After we reached Shuishe pier, we walked along the street.

There is another Carton King branch here so we went in to take a look.

At around 5 pm, the sky had turned very dark. We proceed to the Paper church.
The paper dome structure was donated to Taomi Village in Puli Township, Nantou County,Taiwan which had suffered the 921 Earthquake in 1999. The deconstructed structure was shipped in 2006 to Taiwan, reconstructed there and is now one of the top tourist attractions in that area.

At around 8 pm, we went to Fengjia night market to look for street food.
