Travel diary - (Day 3) Taichung - Puli (Part 1)

Today is Day 3 of our Taiwan Family vacation. We had our breakfast at a breakfast shop besides our minsu. We ordered 2 chinese crepes and a western breakfast.

After breakfast, we  head to Sun Moon Lake. As Mr Liu was not free to bring us around, he assigned another driver, Mr Song to bring us to Sun Moon Lake. But first, we visited the Guangxing Paper Mill at Puli.

The Guangxing Paper Mill in Nantou’s Puli Township has been producing handmade paper for 50 years. It became Taiwan's first tourist factory making handmade paper. Today it attracts 200,000 visitors a year.

After we entered the paper mill, we went to the information counter to enquire on the tour and DIY paper making. I paid NT$340 for 2 DIY paper making lessons. The 2 elder kids were very excited. Ivory was sleeping so she didn't take part in this activity.
